The vote for the next reunion in 2019 was held at the 2017 Reunion in Duluth.  The results are:

                Norfolk, VA        0

                Charleston, SC   0

                Mobile, AL         0

                San Diego, CA   11

                Duluth, MN        21

The primary reason Duluth won was due to the costs needed to conduct a reunion, such as hotel contracts, hotel deposits, minimum room requirements, free breakfasts, tour prices and transportation costs, and registration fee.  Since we have been established in Duluth we have been able to obtain many of the above services with no, or very low fees.

The current Executive Board volunteered to remain the same for the next two years.  The nomination was presented to the membership at the All Hands Meeting held on Thursday evening, September 7th, and was unanimously voted in favor.  So the Executive Board will remain the same for the next two years.

Our Engraved Bricks have been received in Duluth. Construction should begin shortly.  The brick patio at the foot of the Anchor Display will be complete prior to August 15th, 2016. Thanks to all who purchased a lasting tribute to the ship and her crew.

The USS Duluth Crewmembers Association has a small quantity of the Challenge Coins that you received with your membership in the Crewmembers Association, that we are going to be making available for purchase.  We’re letting Members know about this a bit in advance of everyone else and Members get a special price.  After all Members have been given the opportunity to purchase additional coins, any remaining coins will be offered for purchase to non-member shipmates.  The Challenge Coins can be purchased in our Online Store under the Home Tab.
