We are working on having our All Hands Meeting live streamed over the internet on Thursday, September 7th. The live streaming can be viewed at www.ustream.com. We are not currently sure of the login information but will distribute that information just prior to the meeting commencing at 1700 E / 1600 C / 1500 M / 1400 P.

The Reunion is almost here. September 6 - 10th is just around the corner. We have a very busy few days together in Duluth.
There is the All Hands Meeting on Thursday evening, a picnic on Friday noonish, a visit to the USS Duluth LPD-6 Museum Display Window Friday afternoon, and Memorial and Group Photo at the USS Duluth Anchor Monument later in the day. Saturday brings us to tours of the USCGC Alder (WLB-216), a Coast Guard Buoy Tender, in the morning, and then our Gala Event in the evening - our Farewell Dinner at the Clyde Iron Restaurant.

The host hotel will once again be The Suites Hotel at Canal Park, very conveniently located in a very popular area, with easy access to local attractions and walking distance to our USS Duluth Anchor Monument.
The Suites Hotel can be reached by calling (800) 794-1716. Make sure to mention the name of our ship for our block of rooms and negotiated group pricing.

The Suites Hotel has a number of different kinds of rooms available and every room is a suite, with a kitchen. Some examples of rooms & pricing are as follows:
Studio Queen/King Suites (interior): $129.00 per night, plus tax
Studio King Suites w/sofa sleeper: $129.00 per night, plus tax
Studio Double Suites: $129.00 per night, plus tax
Pool View One Bedroom King Suites: $129.00 per night, plus tax
One Bedroom King Suites: $169.00 per night, plus tax
Two Bedroom King Suites or Whirlpool King Suites: $189.00 per night, plus tax
Two Bedroom Whirlpool Suites: $219.00 per night, plus tax
A cost saving idea would be to share a multiple bedroom
suite with a shipmate and split the cost.

24/7 Coffee will be available in the lobby by the fireplace, which we always seem to take over for the 4 days, drinking coffee (etc.), telling sea stories and getting reacquainted with old shipmates and friends. As usual, we are provided with a hot breakfast at no additional cost each morning.
An informational gathering of all shipmates is planned for the evening of Thursday, September 7th, at the beautiful Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, directly behind the hotel, overlooking Lake Superior - provided to us at no cost by the City of Duluth.
